Dataset Connectivity and FAIR Support

This EXA4MIND module provides

• a "Dataspace Connectors and Adaptors" submodule with connector functionality, to share data with European and International data ecosystems such as the growing Data Spaces,
• a "Dataset Index and FAIR Portal" submodule delivering a portal and dataset index to make data FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable, cf. Wilkinson et al. 2016), i.e. compliant with the principles of modern Research Data Management, and
• an "ID-to-Dataset resolution" submodule, with the aim to assign persistent identifiers (PIDs) to data products within a (mostly cold-data) database and to make the data products retrievable under that PID via REST-API functionality.

The module thus faciltiates the setup of data-exchange mechanism between an instance of the EXA4MIND EDD and European data ecosystems including, for example, Data Spaces (as relevant for Industry), EUDAT and the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC).
